We will be playing T-Ball on the baseball diamond, practicing our putting skills on the green, and will show off our basketball skills as we compete in our own Final Four Basketball Tournament on the courts. And for those children who enjoy tennis, we will be also be showing off our serve on the Tennis Courts. We will enjoy having Fenway Franks for snack, singing and swaying to “Take Me Out To The Ballgame,” as we cheer on our friends and learn a little something about different sports around the world!

Thursday: Let’s Go Camping

Get ready to hit the trails! On our camping day, we are going to embrace all that nature has to offer at Fair Acres, and experience the ins and outs of how to rough it in the wild! We are going to make some high-energy trail mix to eat on our camping trail walk adventure and create our own fishing poles and fish for trout on Shubael Pond…we’ll also explore creative ways to hang our food in the trees to keep it safe from wildlife.

Friday: Dragons and Fairy Tales

Come one and all!  We will spend the day slaying dragons and using our imaginations to create fairy tales! We will hunt for dragons at Fair Acres, while flying our own dragon kites. We will also put on a play for each other…“Dinorella”, a prehistoric fairy tale!” Other activities include:  making fairy houses in the woods around Fair Acres, making our own dragon kites, preparing a delightful snack fit for a Dragon, (bananas, bugles, chocolate and pretzels) and playing Dragon Tails on the playground!  We hope you can join us on this enchanted, dragon-filled day!
